Image: Fishing
by Science Fiction / FantasyDetails
Description:
Arvalis and Corrina go fishing.
They are from a river-locked village with fishing as their primary career path before extraordinary circumstances facilitate an adventure.
The reason Arvalis is a scythe wielder is more clear now; scythes act as a hook to hang off the side of the boat.
They try to get the blade hooked under the spiny back of the colossal red mouth river fish.
The boat is attached to a kite that pulls it along fast enough to hook the fish.
Once hooked, they pull the fish from the water where their partner uses a hammer-hawk to split the skull of the fish for the kill.
They use an outrigger with a net to carry the fish back to town.
